The lesion of Polga put Glagstone again at the centre of the defence of Sporting, next to Tonel. At the end of the game, in which the lions defeated by the Leixões 2-0, the Brazilian central spoke of smile on the face of the triumph in the League and the motivation for the reception to Benfica on Wednesday:
"The team is in congratulations because this victory will give us morals to be strong on Wednesday and face another derby. There are no favorites. For me is very good play. It was a very complicated game, but thank God leaves me well in defence together with the Tonel."
