Filipe Soares Franco, President of Sporting, limited itself to convey a message after the victory over the Benfica Sporting (5-3) in the middle-end of the Cup of Portugal, in the Alvalade Stadium:
"I want to thank all the mass associative by giving unconditional support during the ninety minutes and also to congratulate the team and the team that made the brilliant game. One of the objectives of Sporting is win the Cup of Portugal, I have nothing further to say".
