A victory puts Sporting in the half's final UEFA Cup. After the zero of the first hand, the "lions" playing the future this Thursday at Alvalade, in front of the Glasgow Rangers.
It is a Sporting motivated by recent results which will try to ensure for the third time followed the presence in semi-finals of the UEFA Cup: the first was in 1990/91, opposite the Inter, the second in 2004/05, when the "lions" eliminated the AZ Alkmaar, to reach the final, that the CSKA Moscow would win.
If passes, the Sporting will face the winner of the encounter between PSV and Fiorentina, Manuel da Costa, who draw a goal in the first hand.
