The Sporting won this Wednesday the first points in this edition of the Champions League, to win at home to Basel by 2-0 in the second game of the Group C.
The first goal of the match was highlighted by the Argentine Leandro Romagnoli, when they met 55 minutes, taking a rebound happy in the area of Basel. Derlei, three minutes from the end, the triumph confirmed unfair, appearing isolated after moving from Romagnoli.
The Sporting also hit twice in iron, and on both occasions with Derlei as protagonist.
In Alvalade repeated itself the same result as there had been when the two teams had found the previous edition of the UEFA Cup.
