The coach of Sporting liked the attitude of the team and stressed the excellent opening 45 minutes, but admitted that on penalty kicks anything can happen and assumed that the F.C. Porto ended up having more luck.

"The game has moments of greater and lesser intensity. What happened here today at Alvalade was a good game of football. First part of high level, intense and with good organization. In the second part we have a less positive input, but the game was more divided and even when we were in inferiority resisted. In the longer we were the only one who didn't want to take the game to penalty kicks", explained Paulo Bento.
