Today is a celebration of Alvalade. The Sporting adds another year to its history. Today they celebrate the 102. Anniversary of the "lions". An odd date, a date that fills all the fans of Sporting of pride.

In memory of all is still the centennial celebration of Sporting, a full year of celebrations, a full year that ended on the night of July 1, 2006. That day the "lions" celebrated 100 candles at one and add two more to the cake. Today is day of commemoration, again, the Sporting. It is the feast day of green and white.
