The initial of Sporting held this Thursday and the 266 of last season's training, in which only 13 players were present. The team had planned further a working session, but this was cancelled, so players are officially on holiday.
Pedro Silva, Polga, Izmailov, Ronny, Derlei, Tiago, Grimi, Farnerud, Tiuí, Romagnoli, Paulo Renato, Abel and Celsinho. These were the players who were available to Paulo Bento, this Thursday.
Rui Patrício, Miguel Veloso and João Moutinho part of the stage of the National Selection, in Viseu. Yannick Djaló is with the sub-21 and Adrien Silva with the sub-19. Purovic and Vukcevic represent the selection of Montenegro, while Stojkovic is in the service of Serbia.
The Brazilian Gladstone was relieved of the last training and Tonel and Pereirinha recovering from surgery on that subject were at the beginning of the week.
The 2008/09 season starts on July 7.
