The final of the Cup of Portugal between Sporting and F.C. Porto, this Sunday, marking the 34th meeting between the two teams in the race. The tradition still favors the F.C. Porto that, in 34 games, won 12 and "lions" 11, there is still 11 draws.
In the final four disputed between the two clubs, the "dragons" won the trophy twice in 1994 and 2000, the Sporting took precedence in 1978 and now, in 2008.
On 15 tryouts, the F.C. Porto managed to establish themselves for the next stage on nine occasions and Sporting in six. The F.C. Porto also outweigh the opponents in goals scored, 46 against 44.
