Sporting won the Olhanense by 3-2 and reached the third position of the 2009/10 League, equaling F.C. Porto. The next day, the "lions" just visit the Stadium of Dragão.
The Olhanense came to have a two-goal lead thanks to Rabiola and Castro, two players assigned by F.C. Porto. Daniel Carriço began the turnaround and João Moutinho secured a draw at halftime, the conversion of a maximum punishment.
After a second period of intense pressure, Sporting reached third goal, through Vukcevic, (3-2).
