The Sporting beat V. Guimaraes by 2-0 in the Alvalade Stadium to play in the 10th matchday of the League and climbed to 3rd place in the classification at two points of Benfica and four of Leixões.
Helder Postiga opened the teaser to 8 minutes, while Liedson increased the advantage to 21.
